Our web development services are custom-tailored to each client's specific needs. Each project involves consultation, design, development, and delivery of unique digital solutions. As such, standard return policies for physical products do not apply to our services.

Cancellation Policy

Clients may cancel a project at any time by providing written notice to Handgiftau. The following terms apply to cancellations:

Cancellation Before Work Begins

If you cancel your project before any work has commenced, you will receive a full refund of any payments made, minus any non-refundable expenses already incurred (such as third-party service fees).

Cancellation After Work Begins

If you cancel your project after work has begun, refunds will be calculated based on the work completed and the project stage:

  • If cancellation occurs during the planning/consultation phase: 80% refund of total project fee
  • If cancellation occurs during the design phase: 50% refund of total project fee
  • If cancellation occurs during the development phase: 25% refund of total project fee
  • If cancellation occurs after development is complete: No refund, but you will receive all completed work and deliverables

Refund Policy

Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis and are subject to the following conditions:

Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds may be issued in the following circumstances:

  • Project cancellation as outlined above
  • Failure to deliver services as specified in the signed contract
  • Material breach of contract by Handgiftau
  • Mutual agreement between client and Handgiftau

Non-Refundable Items

The following items are non-refundable:

  • Third-party services and licenses purchased on behalf of the client
  • Domain name registrations
  • Hosting fees paid to third-party providers
  • Work that has been completed and delivered to the client

Project Modifications

We understand that project requirements may change during development. Minor modifications are typically included in the original project scope. Significant changes or additions may result in additional fees, which will be discussed and agreed upon before implementation.

Satisfaction Guarantee

We are committed to delivering high-quality web development services that meet your expectations. If you are not satisfied with the delivered work, we will work with you to make reasonable revisions at no additional cost, provided:

  • The requested changes are within the original project scope
  • Revisions are requested within 30 days of project delivery
  • Feedback is provided in a timely and constructive manner

Dispute Resolution

If you have concerns about our services or wish to dispute charges, please contact us immediately. We are committed to resolving disputes fairly and promptly. Most issues can be resolved through direct communication.

Formal Dispute Process

If a dispute cannot be resolved through direct communication:

  1. Submit a written complaint detailing the issue
  2. We will review your complaint within 5 business days
  3. We will propose a resolution within 10 business days
  4. If no resolution is reached, disputes may be subject to mediation or arbitration as specified in the service contract

Payment Terms

Our standard payment terms are outlined in each project contract. Typically:

  • An initial deposit (usually 50%) is required to begin work
  • Progress payments may be required at milestone stages
  • Final payment is due upon project completion and delivery

All payments are processed securely, and refunds, when applicable, will be issued to the original payment method within 10-15 business days.

Digital Deliverables

Upon project completion and full payment, clients receive ownership of custom code and design elements created specifically for their project. This includes:

  • Custom website code and files
  • Design assets and graphics created for the project
  • Documentation and setup instructions

Third-party components and licenses remain subject to their respective terms and conditions.

Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Return Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page. The policy in effect at the time of your project contract will apply to your project.
